Installation Notes for Director 7

Copy intelwde.dll to the system directory and register it.
Copy all four æ.x32Æ files to the Director\Xtras folder.
Copy the "Natural Effect Help" and the "Distort Effect Help" folders into the same folder where you placed the æ.x32Æ files.
Copy the "readme.htm" file into the same folder where you placed the '.x32' files.
The Xtras assume that msvcrt.dll (version 4.20.6164 or later) is pre-installed.

Installation Notes for Shockwave

Copy the wdeadd.x32 and the wdedis.x32 files to the Shockwave runtime Xtras directory, i.e., windows\system\macromed\shockwav\xtras
The Xtras assume that msvcrt.dll (version 4.20.6164 or later) is pre-installed.

Known Issues with Intel WDE Xtras

Natural and Distort Effects: The effects require specific system requirements to be met; these are documented in the help files.
Natural and Distort Effects: Possible small memory and resource leaks in the two effects.
Natural and Distort Effects: Xtra downloading is not fully tested.
Natural and Distort Effects: The Xtra properties do not always reflect the true state of the Xtra behavior.
Natural and Distort Effects: The initial loading sequence of the effects in Shockwave is different in the Netscape Communicator* and Microsoft Internet Explorer* browsers.
Distort Effect: Animating a distorting image doesnÆt visibly distort because the distortion rate is too slow.
